Just Space: An unreleased game

Our story of a narrative-driven sci-fi RPG that was never released, starts in 2019 and ends in 2023.

Our mission in 2019 was to build a new game. We started concepting the foundations of a sci-fi parody game that drew inspiration from several of our favorite sci-fi franchises. It was exciting to get started! 

Then Covid struck and offered us a new challenge. Our team continued to work remotely with the same passion and dedication as always.

We continued to make a ‘Prologue’ build, and although it was showcased to many publishers, there were sadly no takers even though interest was shown. So, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to cancel production.

Our story doesn't end quite there though, our team were so proud of what they had done, that we decided to polish things up and release this Pre-Alpha build rather than it disappearing forever. 

The Game

Just Space (previously known as Minimal Affect) is a story-driven space adventure with a colorful cast of characters on a quest to save the galaxy once again and get into a LOT of space alien combat. Command a crew of questionably capable, likely insane, yet undeniably charming cadets on their haphazard travels across the Milky Way.
